Kimberlyn L. Blann-Anderson, B.S., M.Ed., is the DDEI Director of Student Engagement and Outreach Programs. With over 18 years of experience in student support and student affairs, Ms. Blann Anderson directs the areas of student engagement, advising, retention and career/professional development. She also oversees summer enrichment programs and serves as an advisor for the UAMS Edith Irby Jones Chapter of the Student National Medical Association and the UAMS League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) campus chapter. Ms. Blann-Anderson earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and Master’s degree in Adult Education at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Kim is very passionate and dedicated to providing students with resources, engagement opportunities and awareness related to diversity, equity and inclusion.
In her recreational time, she enjoys traveling, sister-time and hanging out with her seventeen-year-old son, RJ.
