The Division for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DDEI) is excited to announce the launch of a momentous initiative for UAMS. Per the 2029 Vision, UAMS will require completion of a cultural humility/implicit bias workshop, on an annual basis, for all UAMS faculty and staff state-wide.
Beginning November 2020, UAMS employees will use Workday Learning to register for Implicit Bias and Its Everyday Impact to complete the annual training.
This initiative will be spearheaded by OIE Strategy/Training Council. OIE Training and Strategy Council consists of UAMS employees, identified, and invited by DDEI, due to their established reputations as in subject-matter experts, in addition to their respected aptitude in the areas of training, education, and leadership.
